Hello Everyone,
Time for an update on
RBM: A Journal of Rare Books, Manuscripts, & Cultural Heritage!
Spring 2016:
The 30th anniversary issue is now at the printer, and it should be on its way to a mailbox near you in the coming weeks. Do consider subscribing--I think you'll be glad you did. We still have some of the special inserts available, so you can still subscribe and get one:
http://www.ala.org/acrl/choice/order(If you've been living under a rock, or just dodging my emails...these are beautifully-designed inserts printed on THE Kelmscott/Goudy hand press, compliments of our friends at RIT.)
Now, onward to the Fall:
We're looking for submissions, and we make plans for the issue early. So if you have a draft that has been languishing on your desktop, and you think it might be a good fit for
RBM, send it my way. Or if you want to inquire about its suitability, I'm happy to talk with you about it. There's no special theme for this issue, so any topic (within reason, obviously) is fair game.
I'll need to have a fairly polished draft sent to me by the end of June to be considered for the Fall issue. Please email the submission, or any questions, to
this Gmail address.
