Senior Exhibit Designer

Location:LSC - Jersey City
Department:

Description

About You
You have a keen eye for all things art and design related and are curious about science. Rather than saying why something can’t work, you say “What if?” or “Why not?”  You see the world as shapes, volumes, colors, and in multiple dimensions; and you know how to tell a compelling and experiential story.  Spending your downtime seeking unique experiences that bridge technology, art and performance or exploring museums, galleries, flea markets, science festivals, maker fairs, and retail spaces is your idea of fun.

You are able to think strategically, are comfortable with ambiguity, and can view problems from multiple perspectives. You are curious about the world and especially people --to know and observe them as individuals, and to understand how they function effectively and relate to each other as part of a group. This curiosity drives your design thinking and your work with teams.  Others describe you as good-natured, creative, generous, playful, pro-active, flexible, thorough, and able to work well alone and as part of a team.  Ultimately, you pride yourself on being a catalyst of change and creator of experiences!
