The BLM-Anasazi Heritage Center (BLM-AHC) in Dolores, Colorado is offering one Curation internship for a Summer 2016 (12 weeks - 480 hours, approx. The BLM-AHC Summer Curation internship is 40 hours per week. Housing is provided, as well as a $12 per hour stipend. This position offers a broad exposure to the curatorial operations of a Federal curation repository. The curation intern serves as a general curatorial assistant involved in a variety of curatorial tasks at the AHC. Duties include cataloging southwest archaeological artifacts using the Department of the Interior ICMS cataloging system, as well as assisting with various repackaging, reorganizing, and inventory projects of existing collections at the AHC. Interns assist with researchers and public tours of the curation facility as well.
