Just a few more days left to sign up!

Staff of Florida museums, archives, zoos, library special collections, historic sites, and archaeology collections, are invited to take part in the next free FL Connecting to Collections Workshop Series: Module #3: Emergency Personnel. Registration closes on January 29, 2016!

Find out better ways to interact with the "human" factor of your emergency plan (staff and visitors), see resources and emergency personnel that the county and state government has available for institutions in times of disaster, and learn the basics of incident command systems (ICS) and how it can be used by our institutions on February 5. Go home with clear instructions on how to develop your museum’s response. Come back on April 8 to refine it with peers, and participate in a hands-on activity to enhance your learning.

Both workshops are held in 3 different cities so no one has to travel far and so you can network with peers in your region:

FSU Libraries – Tallahassee
Museum of Fine Art - St. Pete
Miami-Dade EOC - Doral

Deadline for Registration: January 29, 2016
Cost: Free
