We are a women’s history museum in Washington, D.C. considering deaccessioning some furniture that falls outside the scope of collections. These are larger pieces of furniture and our goal is to locate appropriate long-term homes for as many items as possible. We ask that the receiving institution pay for any shipping or related expenses.

Items include:

·         Empire chest of drawers, circa 1825-1850 (52.5” x 17.5” x 15”)

·         Victorian mahogany country armoire (90” x 54” x 18”)

·         Hitchcock-style painted and stenciled chairs (3), (33.5” x 15.5” x 15”)

·         Empire style card table, circa 1840-1850 (31” x 37.5” x 19”)

·         Eastlake style writing table, circa 1875-1900 (29.25” x 29.5” x 19.75”)

·         Danner Revolving bookcase, circa 1876-1886 (48” x 24” x 24”)

·         3 sets of nesting tables
