Balboa Park Cultural Partnership is hiring a full-time Manager, Public Events & Projects. A successful candidate will have experience developing, planning and implementing large-scale revenue driven public events.
The Manager, Public Events & Projects will be responsible for at least 3 large-scale events a year at Balboa Park including Maker Faire (inaugural year in 2015) and newly-created annual public events for 2017 and 2019. Each event will serve at least 15,000 guests with a minimum net profit of $150,000 with room to develop and grow. Along with managing public events, this person will be responsible for developing and executing a Balboa Park Events Volunteer database, managing multiple relationships with community stakeholders and driving significant projects within BPCP.
