Hi Joan,

This sounds interesting and something I may want to participate in. I am a curator who is a woman who is unmarried and childless. What kind of stories are you looking for?

Kali

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Being Childless, a Woman, and Working in a Museum

Good morning fellow Museum L folks.
Together with Anne Ackerson, I am working on a book tentatively titled Women|Museums to be published by Routledge in 2016. In writing the chapter women, children, parenting and work, the question of women without children kept coming up. I am interested in hearing from women without children specifically about how that has affected (or not) your lives as museum workers.

If you have a story or information to share, we'd love to hear from you. If you'd rather not make it public, please contact us here and we will arrange for a phone interview in the new year.

Thank you so much for your help,
Joan
