The Educational Materials Specialist will oversee and assist in the development of educational materials and programs for the Museum Division and its historic sites. The incumbent will be tasked with the oversight of the research and creation of educational materials addressing the Mississippi Department of Education Frameworks as well as working as the liaison with MDAH Public Information Office. Duties will also include but are not limited to; editor of /The Educators E-News/ publication for teachers, researching and development of student and public programs, conduct tours, and assist with the teacher training programs.Incumbent works under the general supervision of the Director of Education.
