Assistant Curator

The Montpelier Foundation seeks a passionate and detail oriented full-time assistant curator to aid mansion refurnishing and restoration efforts and provide object-related research support to the curatorial department. Successful candidates will have a Master's degree in art history, the history of decorative arts, or a closely related field with specialized knowledge of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century material culture, decorative and fine arts. Applicants should demonstrate prior paid research assistance experience with primary sources and familiarity with museum practice.
