Pluto & Moon Charon Close-Up Pix & Early Findings
On July 14, NASA completed the first, close-up survey of all major planetary objects in ourSolar System. On this date, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft flew-byPluto and its five moons, the last time NASA has had the opportunityto get first-time impressions and the first close-up photographs of one of theSolar System's major planetary bodies.
