Owned by the National Trust and managed by the LB of Barking and Dagenham this historic house has received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help shape the visitor experience, increase our understanding of existing and new audiences, as well as develop future commercial opportunities for sustaining Eastbury well into the 21st century. We are looking for a Partnerships and Events Officer who has the ability to deliver our ambitions for this very special place. This role is all about developing a strong cultural and commercial offer that reflects the properties distinct history and location, as well as building new partnerships and relationships with groups, organisations and businesses. This role is about increasing our ability to generate income from a variety of sources in order to sustain the house for future generations to enjoy. Working closely with the Heritage Properties Manager the role requires a holistic approach that will help lead an era of significant change for a property that is listed as one of London's top historic houses. The post is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Fixed-term contract for 18 months; Full-time; 35 hours per week. If successful in the role there will be an option to extend the contract beyond the initial period.

Interviews will be held on: Thursday 27 August 2015. Candidates will be required to do a presentation, practical exercises and an interview.
