*Education Coordinator:* The Watson-Brown Foundation, Inc. seeks a
full-time Education Coordinator for the T.R.R. Cobb House in Athens,
Georgia. The Education Coordinator will be responsible for the development,
implementation, and evaluation of educational programs for Museum audiences.



The T.R.R. Cobb House is a 10,500+ sq ft museum devoted to illuminating the
life, character, and accomplishments of Thomas Reade Rootes Cobb and serves
as a resource in history, preservation, and education initiatives within
Athens, the region, and the state.



The Candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in History, American
Studies, Art History, Archaeology, Humanities, Museum Studies, Material
Culture, or Education from a four-year college or university (Masters
preferred). Previous teaching experience and/or museum education program
development and implementation is required. Knowledge of museum curatorial
practices is a plus. Candidate should have prior curriculum development and
research experience, and possess an ability to develop and present
educational programs and/or workshops; must be able to create, compose, and
edit written materials, and to plan, organize, and coordinate media and
special events. Salary is commensurate with experience.
