A natural history museum in Philadelphia 'strongly encourages' its staff to donate to the mother-institution's (a private university) bottom line and offered to 'make it easy' for museum staff by arranging automatic monthly deductions from the staffs' paychecks.

Same natural history museum recently charged its own staff to attend one its shows in its own gallery.

That seems very unethical. Along the same lines as the boss requiring staff to give him/her an expensive gift for the holidays.
