Hello all -- The UO Museum of Natural and Cultural History is seeking to donate its wood and particle board collections cabinets to a non-profit public museum or comparable public non-profit institution. There are two major cabinet types: Type 1:45” tall x 46 1/2” wide x 22” deep, some wood, some particle board, sliding doors, adjustable shelves, 30 available; Type 2:32” tall x 50 ¼” wide x 34 1/2” deep, wood, removable window screen shelves, a few wooden drawers, hinged doors, 29 available. The cabinets have housed MNCH ethnographic collections for decades. They have been sealed (with polyurethane we believe) to reduce off-gassing of wood, but are admittedly not perfect. We will dismantle from stacks if you will transport. There will be more of Type 1 as we empty and replace them over the coming year. These cabinets have been on rolling carriages which we are retaining for new cases. If this is of interest, I can connect you with our distributor. Pictures available upon request. Please contact me off-list at [log in to unmask] and spread the word! Thanks. -- Pam -- Pamela E.
