To some degree the answer to the question depends on what angle you want to set the mask at. The link above is to Gaylord for a closed book display. It would suitably tilt the mask up and with the addition of foam or felt cushion it against the acrylic.

An alternative is to have a wire mounts made specifically for the mask. The link above is for Saunders Museum Services, a group of crafts people that will do an excellent job. It will cost more than the book holder but maybe not too much.
