Lissa,

What a unique spelling to your name.  I like it.  Thank you for your response.

The panels I asked about will not be mounted on the wall.  They will act partially as a barrier between the exhibit itself (a kind of vignette) and where the public will stand to view the exhibit. We will have wall mounted panels as well so it is great to see where other museums are placing their panels.

Thanks,
Becca

How big is your wall?  I'm not quite sure what you mean by "angled panels".  Are they sticking out away from the wall?  If so, which edge is sticking out and by how much?

Generally, 58-60 inches from the floor to center of the panel in ideal conditions, but the final analysis is by what looks right.

Hope this helps,

Our museum is undergoing the process of renovating one of our galleries and we would like to include angled panels in front of some of our exhibits. We envision them at approximately waist high . . . but I am short so my waist high is not the next person's waist high. Can anyone tell me if there is a recommended optimum height for the top and bottom edges of these types of panels, as well as a recommended degree of angle for them?  I have found plenty of references for vertically mounted panels . . . just not angled panels.  We have a limited budget and all of the work is being done in house.

Any information is appreciated.

Thank you,
