Coordinator, Local History Services This position is responsible for contributing to the work of the Local History Services department which serves the needs of local historical organizations and individuals involved in the collection, preservation, and interpretation of Indiana's local history. By providing guidance, training, and assistance, the LHS department improves of the professional practices and standards of the organizations served. Incumbent works closely with the director to improve, develop and implement the programs of local history services offered by Indiana Historical Society (IHS) to a statewide audience. http://www.indianahistory.org/about/job-descriptions/Coordinator-%20LHS.pdf Fundraising Educator, Indiana Heritage Support Program The position in the Local History Services department will implement a fundraising education program for the Indiana Heritage Support Program. The education program will involve teaching several multi-part workshops across the state and coaching local history organization personnel through the fundraising process, with special emphasis on developing a case for support, grant writing, and individual giving. This position is also responsible for contributing to the work of the Local History Services (LHS) department which serves the needs of local historical organizations and individuals involved in the collection, preservation, and interpretation of Indiana's local history. By providing guidance, training, and assistance, the LHS department improves of the professional practices and standards of the organizations served.
