*Summer Internship Opportunity* Hickory Hill has a summer internship available for an enterprising college or graduate student who loves working with kids. The Intern will work with the Curator & Educator to conduct 4 weeks of summer day camps for local teens & tweens. Two weeks are devoted to archaeology with excavations at the Jeffersonian Publishing Plant site. Two weeks are focused on ecology. The Intern will be co-teaching with the Educator, and will assist with curriculum development. *Requirements:* - Must be a US citizen or already residing in the US with verified work visa status; - Must be a college or graduate student (or recent graduate within 6 months) in archaeology, history, environmental science, museum studies, or education; - *Have prior experience working with children;* - Enjoy working outdoors. *Duration:* May 26 - July 31, 2015; Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm *Compensation* $1400 per month. Housing is provided in a furnished cottage at Hickory Hill. All utilities, Internet, and cable TV are paid.
