I would contact Paul Martin at the Science Museum of Minnesota. In my past role as exhibit developer at History Colorado, we worked with SMM to help us design exhibits as we were also constructing a new building, and I found their work to be exceptional. I might also contact Jeff Hayward, Director of People, Places and Design Research (413-586-9003). Jeff is a specialist who works with audiences and how they interact with buildings and exhibits, and has experience working with children's museums, including the Boston Children's Museum.
