I have a question related to the convo on firearms. My institution has some firearms in the collection and I'm curious as to whether or not there is particular licensing needed for curators in general in regards to having firearms in their collections or if, since many of them would fall under the curios or relics category, there is no need for it. In a conference I was at recently there was mention of a FFL type 3 license but I'm a bit foggy on the specifics of that licensing and who would need to apply for something like that, or I guess what firearms would require licensing of that kind.
