Thanks for your input.

We have been using VTS for objects here both with our teaching collections and artifact collections. We also tried using the same questions comparing a painting and objects as a static exhibit. We wondered if VTS could be self-guided in a gallery.

I am trying to get a gauge on how commonly VTS is used with history objects and if it would be a good session at the American Association of State and Local History conference next year. What do you think?

Although we use paintings as part of our VTS program, the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art also uses sculptural items as well as ethnographic works during VTS.
