I would love to see VTS with objects as a session at AASLH.

Thanks for your input.
We have been using VTS for objects here both with our teaching collections and artifact collections. We also tried using the same questions comparing a painting and objects as a static exhibit. We wondered
if VTS could be self-guided in a gallery.
I am trying to get a gauge on how commonly VTS is used with history objects and if it would be a good session at the American Association of State and Local History conference next year. What do you think?

Julie-
Although we use paintings as part of our VTS program, the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art also uses sculptural items as well as ethnographic works during VTS.

I am looking for examples where history museums are using Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) with artifacts, not just paintings, photographs, or similar objects.
