*About the Organization:* Castle in the Clouds is a nonprofit organization operated by the Castle Preservation Society and dedicated to the interpretation and preservation of the historic Thomas G. Plant Estate in Moultonborough, NH. The Estate consists of a mountaintop historic house museum - a country estate built in 1914 in the Arts & Crafts aesthetic; the original stables or “Carriage House,” which houses an award winning restaurant and an Art Gallery; and 135 acres of beautiful grounds with stunning views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding mountains. Visitors can also enjoy 28 miles of hiking trails on the surrounding property, as well as horseback riding and carriage rides. The Public Programs Coordinator will work in support of the Castle mission with the goal of providing outstanding visitor services and quality programs and events for a broad audience. Public programs at Castle in the Clouds include formal and informal educational programs as well as special events, all supporting the mission and centered around the historical, cultural, and natural resources of the Castle Estate. This position is a salaried, year-round position working approximately 40 hours per week in season and approximately 20 hours per week in the off-season. *Qualifications:* Bachelor’s Degree required in Museum Studies, History, Historic Preservation, Education, or a related field. A minimum of two years of experience in public programming at a nonprofit educational institution required. Supervisory experience preferred. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work on several projects concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Strong presentation and public speaking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Computer and Internet literacy, including Microsoft Office programs, word processing, and spreadsheet management. Experience in design software and Photoshop desirable.
