We have a replica Blacksmith Shop, Assay Office, Hoist House, and Hard Rock Mine that visitors can walk through and hear real sounds of mining equipment and explosions. We have a wonderful volunteer that made recordings of these sounds from actual mine operations that are played on a cassette player (yes, we still use tapes!) hooked up to speakers and a general motion sensor. Here is a similar sensor to ours on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Smarthome-INSTEON-2842-222-Wireless-Motion/dp/B003IHTZEO/ref=sr_1_7?s=security-surveillance&ie=UTF8&qid=1415211585&sr=1-7 This set up has been working great for about 20 years with very little maintenance needed!
