Hello,
Please excuse the cross postings.
With great
pleasure and excitement, the Western Museums Association (WMA) announces
the Request for Proposals for the 2015 Annual Meeting to be held in San
Jose, California on October 24-27, 2015.
Are you looking for
opportunities to exchange ideas and best practices, network with
colleagues, and learn from your peers? Did you have an exciting
conversation or get a flash of inspiration at the Las Vegas Annual
Meeting? Submit your proposal now while these experiences are fresh in
your mind.
The deadline for 2015 Session Proposals is Friday, November 21, 2014.
The WMA Program Committee requests your Session Proposals for the 2015 Annual Meeting:
• What are current trends for museums?
• How are museums changing visitor expectations? Or, conversely, how are audiences altering museums?
• What are the big issues in your area of expertise right now?
Sessions
at WMA Annual Meetings can challenge traditions, introduce innovations,
refine best practices, expand horizons, illustrate rewarding
connections, and build on the best offerings of previous Annual Meeting
programs. Share your research, programs, and innovations with the WMA
community!
