The BLM-Anasazi Heritage Center (BLM-AHC) in Dolores, Colorado is offering
one Curation internship for a 5 month Academic Semester in winter/spring
2015 (800 hours- aprox. January to May ).  The announcement and process for
applying can be found that the National Council for Preservation Education
web site http://preservenet.cornell.edu/employ/ncpe.php.  In addition to
the BLM-AHC Curation internship, numerous other internships through the
Department of the Interior are also available through the NCPE program. The
AHC internship is #2516. * The deadline for the
academic semester internship is October 24th.*

The BLM-AHC Academic Semester Curation internship is 40 hours per week.
Housing is provided, as well as a $12 per hour stipend. This position
offers a broad exposure to the curatorial operations of a Federal curation
repository. The curation intern serves as a general curatorial assistant
involved in a variety of curatorial tasks at the AHC. Duties include
cataloging southwest archaeological artifact's using the AHC cataloging
system, as well as assisting with various repackaging, reorganizing, and
inventory projects of existing collections at the AHC. Interns assist with
researchers and public tours of the curation facility as well.

The BLM-Anasazi Heritage Center BLM-AHC will also offer one Curation
internship for *Summer 2015* (400 hours- aprox. June - August ). This
internship pays $12 an hour/ 40 hours week.  Housing will be provided.  The
announcement and application process for  the summer internship will be
available at that the National Council for Preservation Education web site
