IT'S TIME FOR THE MEM'S BACK TO SCHOOL ISSUE!

Researching or evaluating school or other programs/resources related to
formal education in museums?

The September BACK TO SCHOOL issue of MUSEUM EDUCATION MONITOR (MEM) will
highlight ongoing museum education research, evaluation and resources
related to school programs and continuing education for students of all
ages, including curriculum-related programs, ESL/ESD, outreach, loan
services and so on.

Working in this area? I invite you to share your research & resources with
interested others around the world.

Listings by workers at all sites of informal learning (museums, galleries,
science centres, parks, historic sites,  etc.), consultants, faculty, and
students at all levels of study are welcomed.

To assist with this, MEM continues to offer a free one-year subscription to
any student in a museum-education related course or program and to any
museum educator who is currently a volunteer and/or unwaged. More at

To share your ongoing research and evaluation, just send an e-mail to me
including:
*     name of project
*     research or evaluation question(s) [no more than 50 words, please]
*     how the data will be presented
*     principal researcher(s)/ evaluator(s)
*     site(s) where research is being conducted
*     time span
*     contact information
*     key words/labels to describe the project [No more than 4 or 5,
please.]
All listings are free of charge and displayed in their language of origin.
Deadline for the September BACK TO SCHOOL MEM is Friday September 26.
