This year the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums is excited to present Museums in Transition October 22-24 in Washington DC. In addition to 23 sessions covering a wide variety of topics by museum professionals throughout the country, MAAM is excited to offer many off-site opportunities with partnering museums and arts organizations in the Washington DC area. Tours take place at:
Glenstone, the National Museum of American History, Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collections, Hillwood Estate Museum and Gardens, Office of Exhibits Central, the National Building Museum, the Historical Society of Washington DC, and the International Spy Museum.

In addition MAAM is offering two receptions for attendees; the opening reception held at the US Bontanical Gardens and Thursday night's reception held at International Art and Artists gallery.

With this many offerings at the conference, you will not want to miss out on the opportunity to attend. Find more information regarding the conference at http://midatlanticmuseums.org/. But hurry as early bird registration ends September 15!
