At MPMA's
conference.... you'll see small and
dedicated groups of museum staffers swapping notes during lunch, on tour buses,
during sessions, and at special events.
They will be focused
on managing their museum better, increasing their knowledge base or just
talking shop.
In some cases, they
will develop friendships that will last a long time.
In all cases, they will come away with a broader scope of and a renewed interest in what they will do when they get back to the
office.
They will be more likely to implement something
new in the coming year.
