In 2015, ALHFAM invites you to share and compare the variety of tools, both physical and interpretive, that you use to create dynamic Living History experiences. Whether you’re providing a hands-on opportunity in a garden, presenting a dramatic scenario, furnishing a period room, or interpreting a decisive battle, you must select the best tool for the job. That tool might be a long-handled hoe, an exciting script, a period print, an electronic map or a Windsor chair. Having the best tools on hand, and knowing how and when to use them, is the key to Living History success. The conference committee and the program committee have been meeting for the past 10 months, and we've got interesting trips and activities planned both before and during the conference. But a lot of what makes ALHFAM annual meetings great is what the members of ALHFAM bring to the meeting: interesting and provocative sessions on topics that range from the the theoretical to the practical. So start now to think about what's in *your* toolbox that you can share with ALHFAM members! The link to the submission form is here: http://alhfam.org/?cat_id=384#762 The deadline for submitting proposals is December 1, 2014. We look forward to seeing you in Williamsburg next June!
