Museum Programs Associate - Westchester County, NY Consortium of New York State Historic Sites located in Westchester County is seeking a Museum Programs Associate. Responsibilities include: * Working with historic site manager, education department staff, and non-profit "Friends" organization to develop, market, and conduct all public programs & special events for Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site (Yonkers, NY). * Working with historic site manager, education department staff, and non-profit "Friends" organization to develop, market, and deliver educational programs, public events & special events for John Jay Homestead State Historic Site (Katonah, NY). * Working with other site staff at Philipse Manor Hall to research, write, and design rotating exhibits. * Providing educational support to the staff and community. * Assisting with interpretation as needed. * Other duties as assigned. Some weekends, nights and holidays required. 32 hours/week. $13.55/hour non-negotiable. Must have previous experience with historic research, teaching/museum education and programming.
