Hosted by the Education Professional Network (EdCom) of the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) in collaboration with the Museum Education Roundtable (MER) The theme for this year's AAM Annual Meeting is The Innovation Edge, creating a focus on how museums are working in imaginative new ways. Complimenting this theme, the 2014 Marketplace of Ideas will showcase Innovative Collaboration in museum education. Exhibitors will share how their museum is collaborating inter-departmentally or stretching beyond the museum's walls to partner with other cultural institutions, nonprofits, schools, community organizations, or others. We know museums are doing exciting new things and, in many ways, museum educators are adopting and implementing techniques that are changing education. Talk and reflect with colleagues at the Marketplace of Ideas as we all strive to find best practices for innovative collaboration. Participants must be AAM or MER members.
