All-

We are in the process of researching/purchasing a fleet of iPads and intend to use them for participant feedback after programs (among other uses).  Currently, we use paper surveys and have them available after all public programs for participants to fill out.  Do you have experience with iPads, or other mobile devices, for on-site surveys? If so,

1.       how many devices do you typically have on hand?

2.      Is there a ratio of devices to participants that seems appropriate?

3.      Are those devices on a kiosk, are surveys facilitated with staff or are the devices available for guests to pick up and respond to surveys on their own?

4.      If you use on-site surveys, whether paper or electronic, do you send out email surveys to participants after a program as well? If so, How long do you leave email surveys “open” for participants to respond?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and/or feedback.

Rebecca
