The Preventive Conservation book is very goo. I would also recommend New Solutions for House Museums bgu Donna Ann Harris and the Small Museum Toolkit, ed. by Cinnamon Caitlin-Legutko. Any book on artifact conservation can be helpful because the issues with deterioration are the same, you just have to recognize that the optimum light levels and humidity levels may not be achievable in your particular house.
