Dear Wonderful Museum-L Listers, I work for the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. This past summer we increased our hours and welcomed a record amount (for us) of researchers. I would like to follow up with these researchers about their experience at the Historical Society for the purposes of evaluating our progress/having data for grants, our board, and future projects. I'd like to hear about what types of questions you usually ask on your evaluative surveys (especially what works and what does not). We are specifically interested in some qualitative feedback for grant writing and board purposes but I'd also be interested in what quantitative measures have worked best. Also, would you recommend any academic research for further reading? Thank you in advance for your feedback! Sincerely, Laura Barry ___________________________________ *Laura Barry* Assistant Librarian Historical Society of Washington, D.C. http://www.historydc.org [log in to unmask] 202.249.3955 We're celebrating 119 years of collecting, interpreting, and sharing D.C. history.
