*Job Posting: Director of Museum Education* The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has an immediate opening for a dynamic leader, driven by excellence, to guide the organization’s education and outreach programs, overseeing and managing the programs, curriculum and education team members with a high-level of enthusiasm, creativity and vision. The Director of Museum Education is responsible for directing all initiatives related to school groups, public programs, distance-learning initiatives and visitor services, along with the Frank and Peggy Steele Internship Program. The Director of Museum Education must be skilled at leading school groups and distance-learning programs, should be well-versed in public presentation, must be highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, an excellent communicator – both verbal and written, ability to multi-task many projects at once, and able to manage people of all ages. A Master’s Degree in Education or a related field is required for this position. Preference will be given to candidates with five years in public education, museum programming or a comparable leadership position. An affable personality, calm disposition and relentless desire to execute the Hall of Fame’s educational mission are requirements.
