Since the Why question is asked - I agree with Lonnie.  I would appreciate folks listing the city because I regularly look at job ads with an eye to pass on to my students or colleagues who I know are looking for a particular type of employment in a specific location.  I find the process frustrating when having to scan through an ad, looking at all of the fine print, then often having to go to the website just to see where the job is located.  

I hate to sound like too much of a curmudgeon on this, but it should not take that much work to find out where a job is located.
