The Lake County Discovery Museum is currently traveling the exhibition
A Picture is Worth A Thousand Yards: Sports Photography of Walter Payton.
The exhibition features 27 black and white photographs of Walter Payton taken by professional sports photographers from Chicago and around the country.
The resulting images stand as a visual testament to the great skill, driving passion, and sweet nature of Payton, as well as to the skill of the photographers and to the art of sports photography.
The exhibition is currently available for rent beginning in August 2013. The rental fee is $2,500 plus shipping for a 4 month rental period. Exhibition catalogs are also available for
purchase for sale in your museum gift shop.
