Please excuse cross-postings.

This was difficult to do as a single workshop trying to cater to both printers and the people responsible for the care of the prints so we split it into parts. Note that the half-day Graphics Atlas introduction is free.

Workshop Details

Those with an interest in how fine art inkjet prints are made will benefit from attending the first session: History, Aesthetics and Craft of the Fine Art Digital Print presented by Ryan Boatright. In addition, those who are interested in receiving a complete overview of the knowledge and skills needed to care for the digitally printed materials in collections will benefit from attending the Preservation of Digitally Printed Materials for Libraries, Archives, and Museums Workshop immediately following, presented by Daniel Burge.

Additionally, Alice Carver-Kubik will be presenting An Introduction to Graphics Atlas, a free 1/2 day workshop which will be presented between the first two workshops. Graphics Atlas is a new online resource that brings sophisticated print identification, characterization, and exploration tools to archivists, curators, historians, collectors, conservators, and the general public.
