Dear colleagues,
If you (or someone you know) happen to be in Los Angeles on
Monday, December 3, I hope you'll take time to join us for a great program
brought to you by EdCom:
Simulation-Based Learning Experiences from a
Cross-Departmental Perspective
Monday, Dec. 3
9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum
Simi Valley, CA
In this program, you'll experience the Air Force One
Discovery Center at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library through discussion
and participation with colleagues from a range of professional perspectives. Discussion
leaders will share the process of creating this immersive program, as well as
research on the value of simulation learning or game-based museum learning
experiences.
This program is the pilot of a new Alliance series,
“One Good Thing” featuring regional face-to-face professional
development opportunities in which participants explore a specific program or
topic at a local host institution.
Cross-departmental teams are encouraged to attend including:
museum educators, exhibitions planners, audience research and evaluation
professionals, development staff, public programs staff, PR and marketing
professionals, visitor services/experience staff, and museum directors or
senior staff.
