check the archive, having worked a lot with films, I know I wrote some
detailed posts in the past. I can do a brief summary, but it is a good
place to start.

Always insist they pay for TWO staff members to be present at all times
with full veto power on everything happening. Make sure those staff members
are fully trained and willing to say no to almost all requests and that
they will not wander off. Filming is long and boring, typically 14-16 hours
days, everyone should be prepared.

They will not be careful with your things, they always promise, they are
never able to control all their people. never. ever. remove everything
before hand, make them rent their set decoration.

Film crews have 10 times more people than you think, they have very tall
cranes and microphones swinging around, they use a ton of electricity,
they need complete silence, and they will have food and drinks in every
corner and on every surface. They will sit and lean on everything. They
will do it while rollin so that you will not have a chance to stop them.

If it can go wrong, it will.
