Greetings Patti,

At one time the National Museum of African Art (Smithsonian) held exit interviews for 'long term employees' but I am uncertain if the policy still holds. Upon my departure from the Yale University Art Gallery ( 2006), I had exit interviews with both the Chief Curator and Head of Human Resources. None of these interviews related to 'passing on memory,' but rather focused on museum politics and employee relations. Alas, collections were not discussed.
