Subject: Re: [MUSEUM-L] Spring-type curtain holders from late 1800's

the terms seems to be net curtain wire
here is a mfger who seems to make the wire you are looking for and might
know of a retail source.
http://www.patrickmfg.com/contact.htm

similar ones are/were used for holding screen doors
and this place has a wide variety of all kinds of  springs with hooks/loops on the ends
also called expansion springs

this was an interesting search challenge!
Best wishes, Barbara, retired librarian

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Spring-type curtain holders from late 1800's

Greetings from sunny North Dakota!

Could someone here assist us in locating spring-type curtain holders that would have been used in the late 1800's or early 1900's?
The holders are basically thin springs that hooked on each side of the window frame and would be suitable for light fabrics.

Thanks in advance,
