LED lighting is one of those technologies that is still evolving so quickly that it may not make sense to make a major investment in it right now.  This year’s bulbs are much better than last year’s bulbs, but next year’s promise to be even better, and much cheaper. At the point, I might buy a few to experiment with and wait for the technology change and price curves to flatten a little.
