Our museum is the beneficiary of a trust that has IRAs. They are wanting to know if we will accept inherited IRAs. The idea is that if the trust removed the money from the IRAs they would have to pay taxes. If we do as a 501c3 we wouldn’t. Has anyone had this situation come up. I have asked a tax adviser and he is busy till the 17^th.
