I also am currently in the program, and like everyone else can't say enough good things about the program!  You'll find there are a lot of DC people in the program, but I'm a fellow Ohioan and would love to see the out of DC student rate expand.  I know someone else mentioned that you have access to museum professionals all of the country, but it's important to know that some of these are your fellow students and peers.  I found the student base to be very beneficial to learning--some people have been working in the field for years, some are fresh out of undergrad with museum experience, and there are people of all ages with no museum experience, but looking for that first museum position.  This depth gives class discussions a great variety and are very beneficial!

Also, the live seminars are literally the buzz for everyone who has completed them.  I went to Berlin, had the most amazing experiences both personally and professionally, and met a great bunch of people.  If you have any questions, feel free to email me ([log in to unmask])!

Good luck with your decision making!

Hi all,

I have been looking into Johns Hopkins online MA program in Museum Studies.  Has anyone on the list gone through this program?  What did you think about it?

Thanks.
