Best wishes, Barbara, retired librarian

here's a link to try if you have not already done so

here's a site which suggests ways of exhibit evaluation
http://familylearningforum.org/evaluation/types-of-evaluation/timing-tracking.htm
One is a way of observing and documenting visitor reactions.

this site discusses such evals from a director's perspective

here's a fun type evaluation form!
Novel Museum Visitor Evaluation Form

Name of Presenter:______________________
Title of Book:___________________

Your Name:_________________

Circle the statement that best describes
the novel museum exhibit you viewed.

·    This exhibit was so awesome and I learned so much
that that the presenter should “take it on the road” to
other classes!  I think that I’ll take out the book and read it myself.

·    This exhibit was great and I really enjoyed listening
to the presenter and learning about his/her topic.
It makes me think about reading the book.

·    This exhibit was ok. I learned some stuff about history
but I’m not convinced I’d want to read the book.

·    Well, the presenter presented and that’s about it.

·    What presentation?

Please reply to list or contact me as well.  We are currently starting a program where we are asking members and volunteers to "critique" one exhibit each time they visit.  I am having some difficulty creating one that is brief enough to fill out at every visit AND effective in helping us determine what people do and do not like about our exhibits.

Thanks,

Good afternoon!

Does any use an exhibits and/or educational programs evaluation form that they would be willing to share with me either on the list or off-list. I am currently creating one and I would hate to re-invent the wheel. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
