Our museum will be moving our offsite storage to another facility at some point in the future. We examined the new space today and the occupiers said that we can have the shelving that there. TONS of it, which is great as it is an upgrade from what we have. The only thing is that the shelfs are thick pressed wood. I remember from my studies that a "barrier" can be used in these cases to protect the artifact from offgassing, etc. What type of barriers would be suitable to place on top of them? Thanks so much!
