Education survey group is starting – Last date to sign up is September 1
Audience research is critical. And one size does not fit all when it comes to meeting visitors’ expectations. That’s why AASLH developed the most comprehensive visitor research program available to history organizations.
More than 150 museums and sites have taken part in Visitors Count! since it began in 2006. The program offers both visitor and teacher survey questionnaires that underwent extensive research and piloting. The confidential survey data you receive from Visitors Count! can help your organization:
Registration is now open for museums that want to survey teachers who bring classes for an onsite program during the 2011-2012 school year. The goal for each participating museum is to collect up to 100 teacher surveys. Visitors Count! handles all data entry, processing, and analysis. A final report is delivered to you in September 2012. AASLH’s affordable payment plan allows most institutions to pay the $3,500 fee ($4,200 for non-institutional members) over two fiscal years.
Visitors Count! also offers general visitor surveys for both museums and for historic houses. The 2012 Spring/Summer visitor survey group begins January 15th. Registration is now open for it too.
