I agree with Megan; a certificate is not a substitute. If you're planning on
the PhD, your best option would be to find a program that has the MA/PhD
combined which typically takes less time than doing each separately and is
also less overall work. It could also save you a ton of money.

enrolled in an anthropology masters program as well as completing a graduate
